THE Church in Plain City is joining with Christians around the world to participate in the 10 DAYS Global Prayer Movement. 10 Days is a prayer meeting for our whole city. The goal is a season where Jesus Christ is the focus of every heart in our geographical area for 10 entire days, beginning the evening of September 11th and wrapping up the evening of September 21st. It’s celebrated simultaneously in cities and towns around the world on an annual basis.

 

Over 500 Locations organized and joined in 10 Days in 2025 with participants from around the world and gatherings on all six continents. Together, we are forming a global upper room (Acts 1-2) as an act of intercession so that entire cities and regions may come to repentance (Jonah 1-4) and be transformed.

How is this different from past 24/7 Prayer Rooms in Plain City?

  • There will not be a 24/7 Prayer Room open during Ten Days. Instead, the Church in Plain City will join together at 7:00 PM every night (starting September 11th and ending on September 20th) for corporate worship gatherings! Some worship gatherings will be simple and centered around Communion and prayer, while others will more intentionally include extended time in musical worship. (See the schedule below for dates & locations).

  • The emphasis is both local AND global as we join with Christians around the world!

  • There is a stronger emphasis on confession, repentance, humility, praying for God's promises, and mourning for our sins and the state of the world.

How can I participate in 10 Days?

  • Fast from food in some way for 10 Days.

  • Fast from social media and entertainment for 10 Days.

  • Take time off work or your normal schedule of activities to devote yourself to prayer.

  • Gather with others believers to pray and worship during Ten Days Worship Gatherings. (See the schedule below for more info).

  • Follow the 10 Days Prayer Guide.

  • Spend time with friends in the 10 Days Prayer Room.

  • Follow the Holy Spirit's leading to pray more intentionally with and for people.

I want to get involved. How can I serve with 10 Days in Plain City?

  • Support one or multiple 10 Days Community Worship Gatherings.

    • If you would like to serve at / support one of the Community Worship Gatherings for Ten Days, view the schedule below, determine which gathering(s) you're available to serve at, and contact the pastor(s) at the host church(es) accordingly.​​​

  • Pray!

    • Whether you can attend all of the Ten Days Worship Gatherings or none...we worship a God who is with us all the time. We invite you to intentionally join us in prayer before and during Ten Days!​
