What is the 24/6 Prayer Room?
From October 13th - October 19th, Jesus followers all across the Plain City community are gathering to pray nonstop, 24 hours a day for 6 days straight. We are praying for ONE HOPE, the hope of Jesus Christ, for our city.
Where is the Prayer Room Located?
This year's Prayer Room is being hosted by Hope Church in Plain City (the red barn across from the Cheese House). The address is 9899 US-42, Plain City, OH 43064. Please enter through the front door, which will be unlocked.
Why a Prayer Room?
"And work for the peace and prosperity of the city where I sent you into exile. Pray to the Lord for it, for its welfare will determine your welfare." -Jeremiah 29:7. We believe we are called to pray for our community, and Plain City needs prayer!
How Do I Participate?
To sign up for the 24/6 Prayer Room, click here. We recommend signing up for a 2 hour slot so you have ample time to soak in the whole experience. Please remember that the goal is to have an unbroken, nonstop chain of prayer. The prayer warriors in the time slots before and after you are counting on you to keep the chain going!
Who is the Prayer Room for?
The 24/6 Prayer Room is for anyone who desires to pray for Plain City, or for anyone who simply needs prayer! Families and groups are welcome to participate together. The Prayer Room is also kid-friendly.
When are the Prayer Room Nights of Worship?
Join area worship leaders on Sunday 10/13 17 at 6 PM as we "kick off" the 24/6 Prayer Room week with a Night of Worship! This evening of music is designed to bring our community together in anticipation of all that God will do in the days to follow.
Then, join us again on Sunday 10/19 at 5 PM as we celebrate our week of nonstop prayer with another Night of Worship! This evening of music is designed to reflect on all that God did in the days prior, and give thanks.
What is the Prayer Room like?
When you enter, the prayer warrior(s) in the time slot before you will pray over you and bless your time in the Prayer Room space. You will see guided interactive stations you can follow along with, or you can pray on your own. When your time comes to an end, wait for the next person to arrive so you can pray over them as they enter.
To help you know what to expect, we captured video footage of the fall 2022 Community Prayer Room, which was held in the clock tower building (formerly Tique Tock Antique Store). Watch at the link below!
